She has completed her bachelor’s in arts (Psychology) from Mithibai College in May 1999 and master’s in psychology from Mumbai University in May 2001. Worked at SevaDhan-Drug De-Addiction Centre (2 yrs) and Drishti – Developmental Learning Centre (10 yrs) in Mumbai. Practising as a consulting psychologist since 7+ years. Currently, a consulting psychologist at Sion Hospital in Learning Disability Department.
She has wide range of experience in the areas of psychological assessment in IQ, learning disabilities, personality and career testing, counselling program for all age group, training program for teachers, students and parents and corporate training and employee assistance program. Conducted various programmes in many cities across India and exposed to different work cultures.
She has rendered her services to different sectors like schools (across all boards in Mumbai), hospital, child guidance centres (Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Pune), IT sectors and shipping company, etc.
Achievement: Ms. Poonam Agarwal, have been empanelled as a member to be co-opted on Personal Interview Selection Board as a Psychologist in an advisory capacity during the selection process in Mazagon Dock Limited (leading Shipping Company), Mumbai.
